The spectacular bright colors, rare dry rainforest and Eucalypt woodland amazes our guests. The park offers you several walking tracks, explore by 4X4 or go fishing in Lake Cania!  Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat offers several ways of spending the night. Day 1 of our 3 week adventure, out to the ""BIG RED BASH"" at Birdsville, this trip is juust full of bucket list expereinces for Both Kat and I.

So Kat and I and Fiona we headed off a few hours earlier than the other part of the group, first stop was Cania Gorge Retreat, set the GPS and we headed north, past Gin Gin, and took the Kalpower rd through to Monto, this road was bitumen for about 6 k's into the trip, and than it turn to CLAY, wet CLAY, , and this is when it all started to go wrong, Kat and I were in the leed, and Fiona was following, now she already had lost her ""WOBBLY BIT"",(UHF antenna) just as we turned off the Hway
